Yesterday’s announcement about Central Hall Dunkirk receiving the $1.127 million New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) award has left us buzzing with excitement! Today, we’re still riding that wave of joy and gratitude. Here’s a heartfelt message from our team:

What’s Next?:
1. Dreams into Reality: Our architects are already sketching out plans for the transformation. Imagine the historic Central Hall coming alive with vibrant colors, modern amenities, and community spaces!
2. Community Input: We want your input! What features would you love to see in the revitalized Central Hall? We will be hosting a town hall event to hear what ideas you all have. Stay Tuned for the Town Hall Event!
3. Volunteer Opportunities: As we roll up our sleeves, we’ll need volunteers for everything from painting walls to organizing events. Keep your ears open for ways to get involved!
4. Fundraising Frenzy: With the support of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant, our campaign has officially launched. We have a definitive goal set by New York State to gather $175,000 in matching funds, as required by the DRI. Time is of the essence, with the deadline set for August 16, 2024. To date, we have successfully raised $25,000.
