Open Call Dunkirk Public School Student Art Competition - Support Central Hall!
Calling all young artists! Central Hall in Dunkirk (formerly the Adams) is thrilled to announce an open call for our student art competition. This is your chance to let your creativity shine and celebrate the place you call home.
The theme
“My Neighborhood,” invites you to create artwork that captures the essence of your community—the iconic landmarks, the storied buildings, and the vibrant people that make your neighborhood unique.
Your artwork will become the signature brand of the new Central Hall.
We’re looking for two standout pieces that truly embody the spirit of our local communities. If your artwork is selected, it will be featured on all Central Hall merchandise, showcasing your talent and the beauty of our neighborhoods to everyone who visits.
Two Categories
The competition is divided into two categories: grades 3-8 and grades 9-12, ensuring artists of all ages have a chance to participate. So grab your brushes, pencils, or tablets, and let your imagination run wild. This is more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity to represent your neighborhood and be a part of Central Hall’s legacy. Submit your artwork and join us in this celebration of community and creativity!
Ask a Teacher
Students are advised to consult their teachers for additional details. The competition will be evaluated by the school district's teachers, and students may submit their work in their preferred format, such as pencil, paint, collage, etc.
